Under the bonnet is Toyota’s 3.4L 3B naturally aspirated diesel — a simple, mechanically driven inline-four producing around 98 hp and 221 Nm of torque. Power goes through a 5-speed manual gearbox into a part-time 4WD system with a 2-speed transfer case, giving you both high-range and low-range gearing when the going gets serious.
