A. We recommend that buyers have an idea of the vehicle that they want to purchase, as well as what they can afford. If they opt to finance their vehicle, we urge our clients to ensure that the repayments are affordable.
Q. Is a used vehicle reliable or am I inheriting problems that the previous handlers
were unable to fix?
A. Whereas we have many good quality vehicles in our lot, we strongly encourage our clients to ensure that specialists perform a detailed mechanical check to prevent them from purchasing rejects.
Q. What determines the re-sale value of a car?
A. Resale value of a vehicle depends on, among other things, the condition of the vehicle, availability of spares, fuel efficiency and the brand presence in the market.
Q. Are motor purchase transactions secure?
A. We strongly urge our clients to purchase vehicles from trusted dealers, and upon full payment, to ensure that they receive a receipt, sale agreement with mutually agreed terms.
Q. What other documents do I require once the sale transaction is concluded?
A. In order to assume proper title of the vehicle, you are required to complete a transfer form on one part which on the other part shall be completed by the previously registered owner. Together with this, you shall need the Original Log Book in the name of the registered owner(s), his/her/their copy of PIN, Copy of ID/Passport/Certificate of Incorporation. Attach to the duly completed transfer form, pay the required transfer fees at the Kenya Revenue Authority offices and the transfer shall be effected.
Q. Do I receive after sale service?
A. Yes, depending on the sales agreement, the after sale service that you receive ranges from a full service to discounted insurance premiums, a full tank of gas or a thorough vehicle wash.
